Report: Day 4 (Last qualifier day)

With all the previous races sailed, today both fleets only had to sail the last 2 qualifier races. Unfortunately the weather forecast for today was correct and the wind dropped during the first race from 9 to about 5 knots. After the finish of the last fleets, the wind dropped even more and all fleets were sent home.

In these low wind conditions Senior Philippe Bergmans (BEL) had to face his worst first beat, arriving at the windward mark on a 14th place. He was very lucky during the second beat to be at the right time and place to get a private gust of wind that made him gain many places and he finished 3rd. The rest of the race also saw some good fights between the leaders.

Tonight the split into Gold and Silver will be made.
