Report: Day 5 First finals day

With again low wind predictions both fleets went out on the water for their first 11:00 hrs start. After a long waiting time the Senior fleet started their first race around 14:00 hrs with a 8-10 knots breeze, soon followed by a second race.

Lack of wind at the Youth course made the RC decide to send the Youth fleets home for some hours and called them back out around 14:30 hrs. The first race was sailed in a nice 10 knots sea breeze. The second race of the day was sailed under a slowly dying and backing breeze.
After more then 2 hours racing the last sailors of the gold fleet finished at 19:36.
Hopefully tomorrow will bring more steady and consistent winds and shorter races on the final day of these championships.
